Mad River Glen 1997/98 Season Pass Rates
Mad River Glen has always offered more pass options and better pass values tham any ski area in New England. In fact, Mad River Glen has been rated the Best Ski Area Value in the East by Snow Country Magazine. This season these values get even better. Beginning this season all Mad River Glen Passes will allow you to ski for 1/2 price at either Smuggler's Notch
and Jay Peak. This assures you affordable skiing from November to late April at three of Vermont's classic ski areas.

Unlimited Full Season Pass
This is the pass for the hard core Mad River skier. It pays for itself in only 16 days of skiing (only 12 for seniors). Remember that with
this pass you can ski Smuggler's Notch
and Jay Peak for
1/2 price everyday all season long!

This is one of our most popular pass options. It's valid everyday except

Chipmunk Ski Program
This program is designed for kids between the age of four and seven who have already had experience on skis and are able to ride the lifts. The program is based out of The Birdcage Lodge where the youngsters will have their own special area. Our specially trained instructors work with the children in a fun and safe atmosphere designed to further their skills while enjoying the mountain. Junior Race Program
Steeped in New England's rich racing tradition, today's junior race program focuses on developing tomorrow's stars. Challenging Terrain and top notch coaching make Mad river an ideal place for youngsters to learn racing skills, have fun and become better skiers for life.
This season-long program is designed for kids from ages 7 to 12 and focuses on developing strong, fundamental skiing skills in a positive, fun and exciting atmosphere. Initially youngsters will spend more time working on technique, and less time running gates, the idea being that one must be a good skier in order to become a good racer. The program runs all season long on weekends and holidays 9 AM to 3 PM.

Midweek Pass
Only Mad River Glen offers a midweek pass. It's valid Monday through Friday all season except during holiday periods. This pass pays
for itself in only 6 days of skiing.

Student Pass Rates
No ski area gives students better deals or more options. Our midweek and 6 day passes pay themselves off in only 5 days of skiing. A valid full time student ID is required when the pass is picked up.

The 10 Year Pass
The unconventional pass for the unconventional mountain.
This pass locks you into guaranteed savings for 10 years. It's valid for
10 full seasons and the pass may be transferred from season to season.

- All Cooperative Owners purchase passes at "Additional Adult" price.
- All Midweek and 6 Day pass holders may purchase all day tickets for
days not covered at the half-day rate.
- Pass holders may ski at Jay Peak and Smuggler's Notch for 1/2 price only on days that the pass is good at Mad River Glen., excluding holiday periods.
The Refundable Pass Option
The Refundable Pass Option provides the assurance of a full or partial refund due to medical or employment transfer reason. The refundable pass option is available for $25 (including sales tax). Without purchasing the refundable pass option, PASSES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE. Simply check off the Refundable Pass Option Box on the application.
