Greetings from Mad River Glen;

My apologies, but Mad River Glen doesn’t have the resources to give you one of those fancy media kits. Obviously, we couldn’t swing a fancy full color folder, slides of smiling skiers (We have them if you need them) or stickers and posters. Frankly, I don’t think it’s necessary, plus I wouldn’t want Mad River’s skier-owners to find out that I was spending their money frivolously.

However, I did think that it is important to let you know what is going on as Mad River Glen begins its 49^th season of skiing. In this "media kit" you will find information outlining the status of America’s only skier-owned mountain along with basic mountain information. You will also find out what is new this season (Yes! New at Mad River Glen) and what the Mad River Glen experience is all about.

At Mad River Glen you will find a ski area like no other. A place where skiing is still a sport, not an industry. A place where skiing remains an outdoor adventure in a pristine, natural setting. A place so perfect its skiers are banding together to protect and preserve it forever. On behalf of all of Mad River Glen’s skier-owners I invite you to come see for yourself what makes Mad River Glen America’s most unique and special ski area.
