Mad River Glen Skiing Programs

To ski better, ski the mountain better skiers ski! True enough, but it is also a great ski school (not just great skiing!) that make Mad River skiers the best. Whether you are just beginning or you dream of skiing our legendary moguls, the Mad River Glen Ski School offers something for everyone. The Mad River Glen Ski School has been at the forefront of ski instruction since the mountain opened in 1948. Today the ski school is in the able hands of Phil Beliveau, director of skiing.

Private Instruction

There is no better way to improve your skiing than to have one of Mad River's instructors help develop your technique on a one on one basis.

Group lessons

Mad River's ski school offers small group lessons for all levels of ability. Group size is limited so that you receive the personalized attention you need. Group lessons are offered on weekends and holidays only.

Beginner Package

This is an introduction to the sport of skiing that is sensitive to the needs of new skiers. The package includes a two hour lesson and equipment rental.

No matter what your ability level Mad River's instructors can help improve your skiing.

Specialty Group Clinics

Women's Clinics:

Join other women in a program designed specifically by and for women. Your group will first get together to discuss previous experiences and set objectives for the weekend. Then you will take to the slopes to achieve your goals utilizing goal setting, video analysis and individualized feedback.
Cost: $125 per weekend or $450 for all four weekends.

Mogul Clinic:

You can ski Mad River Glen's famous moguls! This clinic focuses on the technique, tactics and mental preparation necessary for taking on North America's best mogul skiing.

Mountain Experience:

Designed for expert skiers looking explore all of Mad River's legendary hidden terrain, this program is fast paced and skiers should expect to ski the maximum amount of vertical. This is the best way for advanced skiers to experience first hand Mad River's "Ski It If You Can" terrain.
