It’s time to start training!!! Last year, during Green & Gold Weekend, Mad River Glen hosted the first ever Stark Mountain Hill Climb Race. Competitors ran up 2,000 vertical feet from the base of the Single to the top of General Stark Mountain. Competitors can take any route they wish so that strategy is every bit as important as strength. This Fall it will happen again on Saturday October 3^rd during Green & Gold. So start getting in shape now for what promises to be an annual tradition. Sproule Love of Waterbury, VT crushed the rest of the men’s division with a time of 25 minutes and 23 seconds. Kristen Nowak of New Fairfield, CT grabbed the women’s crown in a time of 36 minutes and 30 seconds. For race information and registration contact the Co-op office at (802) 496-3551.
