A "rod" was a distance of measurement commonly used by surveyors at the time the whale skeleton was found in 1849. It is defined as a distance equal to 16.5 feet (5.03 meters).

Given that a "rod" is equal to 16.5 feet (5.03 meters), What is the total distance (in feet and meters) between the North and South roads (80 rods), from the South Road to the discovery site (55 rods) and from the North Road to the discovery site (25 rods)Ó?Ó
