Welcome to the SkiVt-L Community Pages!

  • It's a mailing list!
  • It's a Web Site!
  • It's the only one, true non-commercial underground alternative Vermont Skiing Source book on the Web!

Founded in 1988, SKIVT-L began as and remains an electronic mail based listserv style discussion list dealing in all aspects of Vermont Skiing, including eye-witness accounts of terrain and conditions encountered by our team of on-slope reporters and daily Vermont ski and weather reports from the National Weather Service. Best of all, it's free!!

The SkiVt-L Web site was established and announced Thursday, 28 April 1994. We challenge you to name an older Skiing Web Site in the known universe.

Browse the Archives! We have thousands of archived messages from the list, from way back in September, 1993 all the way up to this minute. Check out the latest reports from our on-slope team.

Search the Archives! These archived messages form the most comprehensive database on Vermont Skiing in the known universe. Going Skiing in Vermont? Consult our Mystic Oracle first.

Join The List! Join the fun, contribute your own reports and ski wisdom.
